Dear Jaimin,

We have been doing all the activities you have mentioned, and it has really shown some results during the last few years. Also, you can do one more thing: add an EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION SURVEY, which will result in even better outcomes. It also helps in employee retention schemes. Furthermore, you can introduce Best Attendance Awards for the year (even excluding leaves from the attendance).

Pay was not ranked as one of the most important motivational factors by Kovach (1987), but was ranked second in this research and by Harpaz (1990).

Full appreciation of work done was not ranked as one of the most important motivational factors by Harpaz (1990), but was ranked second in this research and by Kovach (1987). The discrepancies in these research findings support the idea that what motivates employees differs given the context in which the employee works.

What is clear, however, is that employees rank interesting work as the most important motivational factor.
