Hi all CiteHR members,
I am currently implementing a promotion and increment program for my company. Could anyone advise me on the following matters?
1. Do you have any promotion criteria for each position (i.e., staff, officer, leader, chief, manager, etc.)? When do you apply it? Is it once per year or in special cases?
2. How often do you conduct performance evaluations per year? Is it once or twice per year? Or quarterly? Does it link to the annual increment?
3. Based on which criteria do you decide to increase wages/salary? Is it based on up and down market prices? Or the Consumption Price Index (CPI)? Or something else?
Your shared information is highly appreciated. Attached is a useful document about the Hay method which I stumbled upon for your reference.
Thanks,
