am first time joining organised establishment & want to know about ctc break ups for 25K salary p/m. and other allowances like pf/esi etc. pls guide me in details to talk with HR head at early as possible. i am not having any salary slips/or certificates as never got the same in past & can't get now. can i be consider fresher? yr early reply is awaited.

The contents of the salary break up is as below, you can prepare it at the suitability of your own. HRA would be 40 to 60% of basic.
Basic
HRA
TA
Other Allowance
Mobile Reimbursement / Month
Gross Per Month = Sum of all the above.
Gross Per Annum= 12*Gross/Month
PF Contribution= 12% of Basic/Annum
ESI Contribution = 4.75% of Gross/Annum
Medical = The mediclaim facility provided to an employee who are not covered under ESI as the maximum ceiling for ESI is 10000/Month.
Getting more than this will be covered under Mediclaim or it depends on company policy
EX-Gratia/Bonus = A fixed amount as Bonus
Annual Fixed Gross Cost= Gross/Annum+ Ex-gratia
Annual Total Cost = AFGC + PF+ESIC
Annual total cost is also called as CTC.

thanks 4 yr reply Mr. Amit but being new still grateful to clear the followings: the pf & esi would be deducted from salary ? or add in ctc.
suppose 25k is gross 12000 would be basic + 6000 would be HRA conveyance & phone would be another 3000 total 21000 wht about balance 4000? how that will compensate? pf& esi would be 2390/annum so this will calculate by adding ? or deducting from what?
sorry but pls explain me detail? what LTA? how it work?

For 25000/- gross salary you may go through with this one also-
Basic- 12000
HRA - 6000
CCA - 800
Medical - 1200
Phone- 3000
Other Allowance - 2000
Gross Salary - 25000
Gross/Annum = 3,00000
Add PF contribution in the Gross/ Annum and it will come to your CTC..
