2. is any notification is available that Basic wages is fixed at such % of total salary.

Nootifications for the same is not issued. But as per decision given By Gujarat High Court in the cse of Gujarat Cypromet Ltd Vs APFC Salay for PF means salary as per minimum wages & just to avoid higher pf deduction...break up of salary showing lesser Basic is not allowed. Regional Pf offices are also directed by Head Office to assess the dues u/s 7A of PF Act, considering the salary as per minimum wages of that state where the establishment exists.
It is therefore advisable to deduct pf on minimum wages only

There is fixed minimum wage fixed according category of the Worker, it includes Skilled worker, Semi Skilled and Un skilled Worker. According to that minimum wages are fixed.
i.e. if Unskilled then, his basic is 3130
for semi skilled add 150
for skilled add another 150
Every year there is change of rs.4 to 5 in Bacis fixed.
You can contact minimum wages office, so u can get the details which u require.
PF is applicable. so you have to deduct it.

PF dedtn is made on Basic + DA + Food concessional allownaces if paid in cash only. where as the minimum wages are concerned there will be only Basic and VDA, i.e. DA so PF has to be deducted on full amount of Minumum wages.

Mr. Mukesh Sharma, You can write a letter to the Assistant PF commissioner of Delhi and submit the same by hand only and get the acknowledgement of the letter submitted. In you letter you should state all the points you have mentioned above and ask for the reply for the saem with 15 days if you dont get it, write a letter to Vigiliance officer for the same. and sent it through registered AD.

In maharashtra state Minimum Wages changes twice in a year. One is w.e.f.January Month of every year & another one is July Month. PF deducted on Basic + D.A. of the salary.Notificatictionn you will gate from Labour Commissioner Office o 5th Feb & 5th Aug of every year.Minimum Wages chage depend on kind of Industry u are working for.e.g.Jewellery Company, Pharma Company etc...

In addition to the Basic and DA, if somebody is getting other payments in cash, will it be considered as a part of minimum wages for the purpose of compliance of Min Wages Act ??
