Can an Employer Deduct 1 month's salary from the monthly salary in instalments for 6 months as a security deposit to avoid resignation without notice period?
Eg: If an employee resigns without serving notice period or immediate effect, he/she will not be liable to receive the security deposit that is deducted from his/her salary and is kept with the organisation as salary deposit.
I am sceptical on such policies, would like know is there any labor law as per Indian law that says no additional amount can be deducted form salary as security deposit.
Kindly let me know is it ethical and as per labour can the employer deduct from salary towards security deposit.
