Due to prolonged lock-down and job cuts, still can we get the Gratuity Benefits

Gratuity Computation is related to Period ofContinuous Employment as defined in the Act . Kritarth Team 15.5.20

Dear Chinrasu,
You are entitled to gratuity in case you have completed even 4 years and 8 months of continuous service on the probable date of your intended resignation. The period of lock down would only be treated as duty.

Hi All,
Thanks for the replies!!
As discussed my DOJ 08-June-2015 and DOL 02-June-2020, I have sent Gratuity Request Form on my Last Day.
Inspite of frequest E-mail and Calls Iam not getting proper response from HR.
Email :- No Reply from them
Calls:- Told that thay have Trust, The Amount needs to be taken from Trust so it delaying.
It has been been 3 Months, Still same response.
Can someone Advice what can be done next...
Am from Sholinganallur and Company is in Siruseri Chennai

As your company management did not reply negatively to you, you may await for some more time
and again send a reminder to company by post (by R.P.A.D), after a reasonable period of time. You may preserve copies of all communications sent by you to your company regarding gratuity payment.
In case of no response from the company, you can approach Dy.Labour Commissioner, under whose jurisdiction your company is situated, who is the Controlling Authority (CA) under PGA, 1972, alongwith all relevant documents.
