Bouncers are essentially Security Guards and have to be paid accordingly. If they have gun licenses then they have to be paid more. Bouncers cannot be considered in terms of the USW/SSW/SW categorisation for industrial purposes, they are deployed looking to their physical prowess and swift reaction so also a lot of risks are involved in their daily operation. Hence payment to them has to take care of these extra requirements.

Bouncers - the very term suggests they are the people who are authorised to take law in their own hands. Is not this designation totally inappropriate in a Country governed by Rule of Law?

Dear friend,
The Bouncers are nothing but security guards with special nature. Mostly, comes under Skilled category .The most important is to decide whether to hire directly by the establishment or through any Security agencies. Negotiate according to their skill and nature of work to be executed by them.
Once my establishment deployed three Bouncers for safety of my team through security agencies @ 30k per month 10 years back & bachelor accommodation. All they were multi skilled with personal revolvers .

Bouncers --are basically employed to provide physical safety to individuals or clients or to ensure that no unruly incidents happen in the premises where they are deployed.
Their profile should be defend /restrain and not attack.
They are paid much much more than a Security Guard.
