Is this an itch of your brain and you want to make fun out of it or it is a real question arising in your mind and you really want to know the answer? Ask your self first. Be honest. If it is a real question then you will find the answer, the truth, but if it is an itch of your brain no one can help you. People here have rightly replied, not to ask such question in this forum. You need to find out a master, a Satguru to get the answer. But at the same time you must be ready to sacrifice what you think is yours. If you are prepared to sacrifice the real answer is there. I agree with Giridhar - this site is not for spiritual questions. I would like to answer this in my spiritual thoughts.
Coming to the first question - this question should be corrected. God just did not create "MAN" he created "NATURE". God is the start, akin to zero is numeric system. Like how zero is important in mathematics yet has simple value - God is also important and makes this Universe meaningful yet simple.
Next question is about hen. This also should be corrected, as just hen is not sufficient to produce eggs!! In a simple terms, God created required pair (hen and cock) and outsources production to them so that He can concentrate in R&D!!
What I suggest is that we need to start looking at things in a holistic way and then it will be easy to get answers. Firstly, we need to find why we are part of this great creation, then we can think deeper, this is my thinking.

Are these questions the main agenda for your organization/you for FY 10 and of paramount importance for your well being/mental and physical prosperity?If so,then i know someone in Remote Himalyas-at South Col and i can refer you to him.
Believe me,few days there in month of Oct-Nov and you will come out with pure consiousness-with absolutely no doubt about God's creation and Hens and eggs.(NIMHANS will be less adventurous,but sure it can be Plan B).
