Now the maternity leave is 24 weeks. The act was ammended as per the ammendement a female employee now eligible for 24 weeks leave

Sir, please indicate whether the so called amendment has been notified and made applicable. It will be more better if you may kindly place on record a copy of such gazette notification for general information of members of this forum.

Stop misleading people with wrong information.
The PROPOSED amendment has been accepted by the women and child ministry, but asking for additional benefits, which has not been accepted by the labour ministry.
The amendment has not even been tabled before the parliament
