Hi Renu,
According to Act, all those organisations who comes under those eligibility criteria are liable to register themselves with the Fund..
Only the appropriate Government is empowered to exempt any of the organisation from the operation of all or any of the provisions of the scheme:
But there is some limitations regarding the type of establishments, like
If the employees are also in enjoyment of other provident fund benefits
Any Establishment the employee of which are in enjoyment of provident fund, pension or gratuity benefits, which are not less favourable than the benefits under the Act.
So can say that these are the criteria to do the same..

Regarding the salary package of 10,500/month, it will be exempted from ESI.. As the ceiling is only up to 10,000/-.
Regarding Challans and returns, challan is been submitted every month before 21st in quadrate i.e foue copies are there.. and it has to be submitted along with deposition of the contribution money at nearby SBI Bank.
Whereas, returns are been submitted after every 6 months to the local ESI office.. along with complete details of employees and contribution amount and as well as submitted challans...

I have gone through your advice. I really appreciate your answer but in my organization more than 500 employees are working. And my manager told me to handel PF. They told me to fill the challan and submit Form No 12A, 5 and 10. I really dont understant how i will do it. Kindly help me for this situation.

we already have ESI code no for our establishment and we started our sister concern in march 08, and in process of getting PF No thru consultant, now we have to get ESI code no.
i joined in 1st week of july now my coo told to start process for getting esi no.
