The article was good and well written, but as you were mentioning in the article, it was simple for us (Readers) to guess everything. It was very very simple and easy to guess. Hence, it lacked that punch. Have you read Chetan Bhagat's "One night at Call centre". Its a small book but has lot of suspense and drama. You will surely excel as you keep on writing. This was just the start dear!
