I have seen a lot of requests posted for sharing a pf return software. As Mr. Chandrashekhar pointed out that there is nothing available for FREE download. One can buy a genuine payroll software which they can use and upgrade from time to time.
The ones available for free are only trial verisons and last only for a 7-15 day duration.
Therefore, if payroll is genuinely a problem in your organisation then go in for a software or outsource the same.

EPF Department has not launched any e-filing system yet and only they have provided all the reauired formats in their website EPFO <link updated to site home> . Else anyone can go to the department and can avail the required form fill it up and submit the same to the department for settlement and the department has to clear the claim form within 30 days of submission or else you can take up the issue within the PF Commissioner itself.

Hi friends, I am from a manufacturing unit in Pune, and our records have been recently shifted to the new PF regional office in PCMC. Besides the expected mess, now the PF authorities have made it compulsory to file 3A & 6A in their new software either we give them CDs or file on line. Our existing excel data can be converted to the new software, however, I am foxxed with the headings mentioned. The concerned officers do not bother to answer the 'phones and it is really inconvenient to keep popping into their office. Can anyone explain me the headings in this new software? Thanks:confused:

There is no software which generates only PF report. PF is part of payroll & hence paryoll processing unit take care of PF & ESI statuatory report. We are using "MetaSoft Payroll Software". It generate salary general reports, PF & ESI statuatory report alongwith FORM16 & quarterly e-return. I think it will solve yr querry. Link of them is

[Dear Sir,
The department has asked to submit the annual returns on the CD. The data to be submitted should be in their software only. From which we need to take it on a CD and submitt it to PF office.Pls guide me if the software download is available on the net?

no one knows to how to use the form3a data entry.
