First of all you should understand that in ESI hospital will not provide 100% treatment, So they have link with private hospital. You can check with your hr or search in ESI web site for speciality hospital then got to your ESI main hospital and meet medical supertant tell him the detail which hospital your are going to get treatment and get approve from him
Note: before admit in private hospital that have ESI scheme , first concern with the hospital doctor whether they treatment will covet fully in the scheme itself. Why I am telling because they have slot for every treatment according to waif scheme with that amount the hospital will give treatment.

First of all they can not discharge. Even if they do so they should permit you in writing to purchase the required medicine from open market (cost of the medicine to be reimbursed by the ESIC by completing their formality).
Not only in Gurgaon; medical treatment thru ESIC is unsatisfactory throughout the country and they are thinking to enhance the coverage limit to Rs. 25000/-.
