If a person gets 'monthly pension from the LIC-superannuation-fund', is such pension amount also to be added in the 'taxable income' while filing Income Tax Return..? Pls advise....thanks in advance

Hi Jimson,
First of all penion is taxable. LIC while paying u pension will deduct income tax if the pension paid by LIC is taxable . They will not ask u to submit declaration on your other sources of income. It is your responsibility to declare the pension amount and other income like interest income in your IT return.
