Covid-19 special leave policy can be designed/framed as per the guidelines of your management. What is your industry? Make a survey regarding Covid special leave policy followed in other companies in the same industry. Keeping in line with that you can also frame.
In our company, we give Covid-19 special leave as 7 days with full pay. But we insist RT-PCR test report (both positive and negative). Even for contacts also, we give quarantine for 3 days as special leave with full pay.

Grant of special leave for 14 days with full pay for employees :
1. Tested +ve and hospitalized
2. Tested +ve and under home quarantined
3. Family members tested +ve and the employee is home quarantined.
