We are going to Launch ship in coming days. launching will be a side launching. We are doing this for the first time. As a safety person what are the specific precautions i should suggest and what will be my role on the launching day. I have to give plan for the management. Kindly help me on this. How to do channel traffic control. is it coming under safety??

Safety is not related to one subject, as you are asking about ship safety, in this HR cite safety officers or professionals most of them working for the manufacturing/process industries. so my sugestions to is refer books on Marine safety engineering and also shipping and lagestics books for traffic control of ships.
