I have joined a PSU as an Executive Trainee on 28.01.2019. During training period of 1 year, I was paid fixed stipend on monthly basis. After training, I got promoted to the rank of Deputy manager over the years. I have resigned from my position with effective date being the 09 Feb 2024. Total service period including training period will be 5 years and 13 days. Service period without training period will be 4 years 13 days. Is the training period considered for gratuity calculation? I would like to know if I am eligible for gratuity payment.
