Actually there is nothing to do with colour of helmets. Its for the protection of organisations greatest assets / HEAD. Though one can use colours for easy identification of persons / employees.
Following colours can be given to :
Red: Fire Fighters / Electricians
Green: First Aiders / Utility operators
Yellow: Workers / All
White : Staff / Visitors
Blue: Contract workers / Casuals
Choice is yours.
Rgds,
Sachin Thorat.

Dear SSM
My suggestion as follows:
Employee – White (marked with Name & Blood group )
Visitors – White ( marked as VISITOR)
Contract Workmen - Yellow
Safety - Green
Electrician, Security, Blaster, Driver & Fire – Red
If you are into selection of helmet go for FRP Helmets. They are giving the best protection than any other material of make...

Dear SSM,
Mr.hami, Mr.sam, Mr.sachin, Mr.PBR, Mr.dipil given a solution about your query.
OSHA doesn’t require any particular colors for helmet as per our requirement and easy identification only we will use differ colors of hardhats. But OSHA required/suggest using high visibility color hard hats that’s why we are use mostly yellow, red, green, and white.
But I heard EM-385 have some standard colors for hardhats I DONT HAVE ANY PROOF I mentioned that section below if anybody get standard color document please share on this thread its help to our EHS professionals. . . AGAIN I MENTIONED I DON’T HAVE ANY PROOF FOR THIS I HEARD THIS FROM MY FRIENDS WHETHER I GET ANY DOCUMENT WILL SHARE WITH US. . .

Very well said Mr. Sachin Thorat, its the safety which is more important than colours.. and codes given by him are also perfect.. One addition I'd like to make, some Pharmaceutical companies provide helmets to their field sales employees, with their logo and a reflector for riding safely at night.
