My friend needs to leave his present job. Now he is in probation period.
as per agreement, its agreed that, " during the period of such probation your employment may be terminated without notice and without assigning any reasons". Please suggest in such case what will be the notice period.

I think, your friends also have HR rules from that company for leaving the company within the Probation period.

Yes as you mentioned either employers or Employee can leave the organization with out any notice.
But ask you friend read the offer letter if anything mentioned about service notice at the time of probation.
