Can you please explain the purpose of the above comparison? It is not like you have a choice in whether you will accept ESIC or not.

your attachment is self explanatory. so you should go with ESIC rather than Mediclaim Insurance. because in insurance you have only limited benefits but in ESIC vast benefits are available . .

Hi,

ESI is statutory and not optional. Where as Mediclaim insurance is optional and at the discretion of the employer.

While ESI will be beneficial for employees covered under it, Mediclaim will be beneficial for employees who were not covered under ESI.

ESIC is statutory and mediclaim policy is optional. We advise take treatment with esic hospital which are good and beneficial to your family.

As already clarified here, ESIC is statutory and has benefits unlimited. If company willing for extra coverage for its workforce, it can go for additional cover as mediclaim. Thanks
