Interpersonal skills, Building rapport, Types of customers - Handling objection & disputes, Handling Irate customers, Time Mgt.
These are some ideal programs for a construction co. since most of the time there is delay in the project due to various reasons. This is due to no proper co-ordination between engineers, finance, sales & CRM dept.s.
We have done several programs for construction co. If you are looking to outsource training do contact me. My email - 9980 636 121

Dear Nidhi,
This is in addition to what Gautham has said.
Construction companies have huge inventory of raw material. In fact it accounts of about 70% or more of their total expenses. Against this backdrop training on "Purchase and Inventory Management" acquires lot of importance.
I have a client who is top 5 intra companies of India. Today value of their inventory (at all the projects put together) is Rs 1,500/- crore. Of this about Rs 300/- crore is inventory of non-moving items! This huge accumulation has resulted because of incorrect decision by the project managers. Now imagine how much amount of working capital is blocked in inventories.
You include topic of "Purchase and Inventory Management" as one of the top most topics. If you wish to conduct the training on this topic, you may contact me.
Thanks,
Dinesh V Divekar

Dear Mr. Nidhi
You need to identify the modules required at various levels, which should be based on EMPLOYEE SKILLS(competency can also be included). Training methodology remains same whether you go for AUDIO VISUAL or MENTORING(COUNSELING)
Kindly do concentrate on TEAM LEADERS(SUPERVISORS, FOREMEN) and WORKERS(Technicians, general category workers, etc). You need to bridge this gap as most of the concerns are raised from these categories(employees) only.
Now a days, NON TECHNICAL SKILLS(SOFT SKILLS includes INTERPERSONAL, EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION-ORAL/WRITTEN, and TEAM BUILDING/BONDING, PERFORMANCE BASED LEADERSHIP, ATTITUDE, TIME MANAGEMENT ETC,) are major requirement for producitivity(performance at individual levels)
With profound regards

a construction company needs training of the staff on civil engineering knowledge and quality assurance in construction.
we have asked many project managers/supervisors a simple question of where does one find the exactly 12 dimention of a 12mm re-bar which is used in construction. and then what grades. we are shocked to note that none could give reply properly. the designers are the only ones appear to have knowldge.
so we suggest a module for civil engineering basics for all the field staff need to be provided.
a qaulity job does not cost an organisation extra bur poor quality definetely does.
if the organisation is into steel construction, the field staff needs knowledge on welding, fasteners painting etc.
another training need is safety and we noticed that many are not aware of standard PPE for people working on hights
