My PF account no. is DL/934792/16.
PF claim form submitted by my previous company only in the month of January 2009.
Its been more than 5.5 of submission of claim now but till date I haven't received the money and site is showing that claim is not received by them.:(
I got the status by my previous company only that Claim is under process in the month of March but still haven't got the claim.
I just want to check that how much time Govt. will take to clear the claim?

I got the acknowledgment from company which says that they have submitted the form on Jan 20, 2009.
But I just want to know that How much time govt. takes to release the amount?

dear iqbal in that case yopu contact personnaly with your acknowledgement withPF office. it does not take more than 45 days to settle your PF account. regards j s malik

hi this is venkat if your bank account is in the same city the claim will come with in 15 days after submitting the pf office. Other wise it will take 30 days .
So you can go the pf office for further enquires.

I'm regularly talking to account guy from my previous company and he updated me long time back (around 1.5 months back) with current status with scanned doc that its "under process".
I don't know why govt. officers are taking so much time to transfer the amount.

I had submitted my PF withdrawal form in my previous co. in mar 09 and now I want to change the bank account no. i had given in the form on urgent basis but as per the HR guy of the co., he has not yet received the acknowledgement of the submission of my form and he is saying that now i can't change the details. Plz. suggest me wat to do as i dont want that money to b transferred in that account. is there any other way out or can i get cash delivery of the same. Plz. suggest me wat to do.

U should file application under Right to Information Act stating that how much time supposed to be taken by the PF Authorities to process the PF Amount, based on this reply u can issue notice in the name of PF Commr., in the mean time u will enjoy the Rate of Interest of 8.5% p.a, supposed to be the best investment in todays time. :-)

u have to submit an ASR form (Advanced Stamped reciept) to concerned pf office alongwith an application and new bank a/c passbook/statement copy in which u want to get ur pf amount.
it can be changed at any time
