Dear All
I have got 4 years of experience in the field of HR.However i wanted to go for LLB course as legal is a right combination with HR,legal knowledge and statutory compliances is a solid combination. But someone suggested me that instead of going for LLB with 3 years to work on , i should go for CS course which also involves law and would be helpful for increasing my salary.
I want to know from the seniors whether a course in CS would be beneficial for a HR carrer.

Dear All :

If you wish to go for Company Secretary after HR you are the leader in Labour relations, Statutory Compliance, Company Mergers, Performance appraisals and legal aspects relating to company.

Someone is actually saying gor for LLB instead going for CS - let me tell me you my friends, LLB & CS are butter & breads - CS course is an added advantage after you have done your LLB.

If you would like to taste the real HR - working in an Industry or a Factory with Labour relations and stuff do your CS - it is a correspondence course which will take you to higher Standards. As well you can do LLB pararelly. Remeber LLB is just a degree and CS is a professional Course.

However, you will still have Financial subjects like tax & Cost Accounting. For the present scenario and rapid change in HR Practises - it will always good to have few feathers in the hat. Believe Tax & Cost is beneficial for Payroll people & Head count cost understanding which are as well part of HR Roles and Responsibilities.

Take a call - decide what you want to do, but my understanding of Company Secreaty is best for any course after MBA either for Finance / HR the course is soo flexible and vibrant - students can go to their line of study and excel with this course.

All the best !!

Regard,

Vivek
