Dear Kanchan,
You could have given little more information. Are you job candidate or HR professionals from the company? Has company issued offer letter to you? When you were expected to join? Has company given in valid reasons for the withdrawal of the offer letter?
Withdrawal of the offer letter is in bad taste. On the strength of the offer letter candidate resigns from the previous company. Withdrawal of offer letter leaves candidate in lurch. Withdrawal candidate in the condition of unemployment, which is nothing but hardship for no fault of candidate.
If you are a candidate then you may approach a lawyer who handles cases for Indian Contract Act, 1872. It is the issue of Appointment Letter, that starts the relationship between the employer and employee. This relationship is a contract between two parties.
Offer letter is nothing but pre-contract agreement. Talk to lawyer and find out whether company can be sued for pre-contract breach.

The damages can be claimed from the employer in such eventuality. The issue was discussed in detail in the recent thread of May, 2015 entitled "Offer letter revoked by Employeer". Pl refer to it by searching the exact words.

Dear Dinesh,
i have given resignation during the interview procedure.later on comapny mailed me offer letter on mail and joining date was on 1st june 2015.they mailed me it on 21st may but i was giving my exams and had some questions to ask so i didnot send any mail or make any call as acceptance as it was not mentioned in mail that i need to send them acceptance within the time.after my exams got over on 25th i got call from company and asked my query and accepted the offer and also told them that i ll send on same on mail also.after some time they called me and told due to some organisational changes they have to hold my joining as if now and will take 15days to solve it and they have send me same thing on mail stating that i should wait for them to revert me back.same i did.i again call them on 1st june.HR didnot have any clue what is the exact reason and told me that they will take 7 more days.than again i left them mail to ask my joing date they simply reply that the offer is null and void.i have asked for the resaon but till they have not replied to me.in this case can i send them a leagal notice.
