Yes, Deepika, good one. Fact is that much of DV is emotional in nature in the "sophisticated couples" of today. And much of it happens because women are still largely dependent on men, physically, emotionally and financially. If they develop a strong mind in addition to a sound financial standing, DV would fly out of the window. Let's hope it does.
