Man and God
The greatest creation of all is our body and the immense intelligence that is within it.
It is nature’s most wonderful work of art.
The design of our body:
-Our heart beats 1,00,000 times in a day, and pumps 6 litres of blood through 1.2 lakhs kilometers of blood vessles in a day.
-Our digestive and metabolic system have a remarkable ability to transform the food we eat into blood,bone and other body structures.
-The air we breathe which we can not even see,but can only feel is within seconds analysed,the oxygen is exchanged for the excess of carbon-di-oxide inside and then it is thrown out without we even knowing about it.To do this simple action in a outside labarotary needs very complex machines.
-Every time we have a cut,withn seconds there is a tremendous amount of activity in and around the wound to seal it and heal it. It is the fastest ‘auto emergency-operation’ on earth.
-The defence system inside us is greater than the defence system of any country.
-The wisdom necessary to fertilize an egg and turn into fully grown man or woman are beyond our intelligence.
-At the helm of this pinnacle of perfection is our brain, overseeing all these miraculous activities.
Let us look the other side of ourselves.
Imagine a person typing a letter, while simultaneously watching a TV and suddenly attends a phone call.
How well can the person perform these three functions?
Definitely not with any high level of efficiency and that are only three activities-while the person’s inner intelligence is performing trillions of perfectly co-ordinate harmonious activities every moment.
The above facts clearly demonstrate beyond the shadow of doubt that there are two sides to ourselves.
Do we see it? Do we agree with it?
Let us call it the body and the soul or man and God.
The single letter word ‘I’ denotes the soul not the ‘body’. To make it simple, even without two legs, a person can use the word ‘I’. As long as we identify ourselves with the body, we are limited by the body and when we identify ourselves with the soul, we have the unlimited power and intelligence of the soul.
As everyone of us want the latter, but unfortunately most of us identify ourselves with the body.
Spirituality simplified.
For sure let all of us agree with the above facts.
First we must become aware of them and soon we will develop faith in them.
Next we can develop a method to use them for our benefit and that is all ‘spirituality’ about.
If there is even an element of doubt, then things just will not work for us.
Let us conclude with a story.
A villager inherited a car and ignorant of its use tied two horses to it and carted the car around the village. He had the power of thousands of horses inside, but he was not aware of it and did not know how to use the power given to him. So throughout life he struggled with it.
Aren’t we all in the same boat?
We are not aware of the awful power inside us and are struggling throughout life by concentrating on the two horses outside instead of the thousands inside.
Let us all unleash that mighty power inside, which created you and me and all the universe.
