Q1 - Apprentice is one who undergo training in an Organisation as part of their curriculum especially during the last year of their course. Apprentice is eligible for fixed Stipend.
Trainee is some one who joins an Organization as Fresher and undergo formal training program. Trainees are eligible for salary as fixed by the Company.
Q2 - Apprentice are not eligible for any statutory benefits.
Trainees are eligible for PF/ESI /Gratuity benefits and training period to be considered as part of service period.
Trainee placed on regular rolls cannot work for multiple companies at a time. However trainees placed on part time assignment may work for multiple companies subject to time feasibility.
Q3 Manager - a person responsible for controlling or administering an organization or group of staff.
Supervisor - a person who supervises a person or a small group.
In normal course Managers are not eligible for overtime wages considering their salary part and by the virtue of their role and responsibiltiy.

Ans. An Apprentice is one who has been recruited as per the provisions of Apprentices Act, 1961 and is being governed by the rules as framed under the said Act.
Whereas the Trainee is one who has been recruited by any organisation to work as Trainee and undergo the training as per the rules of the organisation. He is not recruited under any status and governed by the rules as per the terms of employment. On completion of training period his services may get terminated or he be absorbed or put on probation in the company employment as per the terms of the employment as Trainee.

Ans. Apprentices recruited under the Act, are not eligible for Bonus, P.F., Gratuity and ESIC. However, they need to be covered under the Workmen Compensation Act, 1923, against any injury while undergoing trainee.
Trainee are eligible to get benefit of Bonus, P.F. ESIC and needs to be covered under the provisions of these Status. However, trainee period being less than 5 years not eligible for Gratuity.
