Do you have leadership quality? Hello everyone. One more question again. Why are we not sharing our leadership qualities among all? Are you having leadership quality? I hope everyone is thinking they have leadership qualities so I want to know how you are a good leader. Start sharing your story and some case studies from your own life. Note: This question is often asked by interviewers as well. Keep sharing.

Hi Abhishek,

I will not be praising myself, but sharing the truth. Leadership quality was there since childhood.

Throughout my school days, I was the class monitor in each class until +1 and became the Head Girl in +2. I did a B.Tech in biotechnology. Again, in college, I was the head of many student organizations. I came into the job of HR Manager without having any experience. (I still wonder how the MD saw the potential and hired a fresher for a company of more than 100 employees). Now, I have completed an MBA in HR (Corros) and have been successfully running the company independently for the last two and a half years. But I always give full credit to God and hard work, which always pays off either today or tomorrow.

Thanks,
Vineet Saini

Leadership qualities by birth anyone would get. The point is how we identify that we have these qualities and practice them at work or at home.

Thanks for sharing.

First of all, it's not praising; it's an evaluation of oneself in an honest manner. You did, and I appreciate your effort. But one more thing I would like to add, which you described, comes under managerial quality. Because you have headed/managed people from your school days, and now you are doing well as a manager. However, to be a good manager, you should also have leadership qualities. I can see you may have leadership qualities, but I would like to know more about a case/story showcasing your leadership qualities rather than managerial qualities.

Let me elaborate on leadership. Leadership involves taking care of the supporting team, mentoring, monitoring, and motivating the team to succeed, managing all diversities, focusing on goals, and achieving 100% results at the end of the day.

Talking only about the leadership skills is:
- Making your team believe in what you see for them.
- Keeping their issues and problems in front of the senior management.
- Gaining your employees' trust.
