hi, do all organisations ( atleast well known ones) always ask for a relieving letter from new joinees? or can one do without it and just display the offer letter and salary slips.

Zat depends on the type of organisation and on how good ur friends with the HR, if the HR is ur friend, relative then no need of even interview also, direct joining :)

When I asked the person who was looking after all the personnel files, she said we have not taken that purposefully because the salary of many staff members is not sufficient, so they work outside to earn extra, and therefore, a relieving letter is not required.
