First of all, identify the roles and levels of your staff. Identify the required competencies and the necessary level of each competency for each role or level. Thereafter, measure the actual level against the required level. This will reveal a competency gap in your organization that requires attention to be filled by training or appropriate measures.

Shijit.

Hello,

First of all, identify the competencies (knowledge, skills, and attitude) required for this role. Secondly, arrive at the required level for each competency. You may use a questionnaire or focused interviews for this. Thirdly, rate the actual competency level. Once you have identified the required and actual competency levels, you can capture the gap level in each competency. This gap could be addressed for corrective measures. I hope it's clear to you.

Regards,
Shijit.
