Is it correct that Per the EPFO, for members exceeding 12 months service. EDLI Claim is to be calculated 35*Avg Monthly Wage + 50% of Avg.. Progressive balance, therefore - 35*15000 = 525000 + 50% Avg Progressive Balance. Thereby eligible EDLI amount should be around 5.29 lacs?? Is this correct? Asking here, as haven't really seen anyone getting this high amount and there looks quite a variation in feedback available from claimants.
