As per the RTI Act of 2005, all information, except those covered under Section 8, can be sought and must be answered by the public authority. It would be beneficial to educate yourself based on the numerous online resources available.

In addition to the above observation of our learned friend KK(!)HR, I would like to request you to go through the definition of the term "Public Authority" as defined under Section 2(h) of the RTI Act, 2005. Therefore, you cannot exercise your right to information under the Act unless your employer or the particular employer happens to be a "Public Authority."
