Hi.. It can be online/e recruitment, factory gate, thru newspaper/print recruiment, referral, internal database, thru placement consultancies(outsourcing) etc. Thanks Nidhi

Actually, your question itself seems fishy. I think you are not clear about what you want. Sometimes you ask about "types of recruitment," sometimes about "methods of recruitment," and sometimes something else. You better first be clear at your own end about what you actually want.

Hi Ameesh,

The recruitment practices differ from organization to organization and industry to industry. It will be very difficult to comment on the various types/methods of recruitment practices across the country. Recruitment practices/types/methods/sources are basically misnomers. They can be quoted/interpreted as the same.

The most commonly used practices for hiring talent are through external agencies, job portals, newspaper advertisements, referrals, walk-ins, direct applicants, etc.
