Hey Sagar,

I appreciate your efforts in making the model for HR professionals. However, it would have been even more impressive if you had made a competency model for an organization including all the positions, right from the junior staff to the vice president. It would have given a broader and much more transparent view to all the viewers.

I'm doing a project on the same, i.e., I'm designing a competency model for an organization. I would certainly share the project as soon as I complete it.

You have done a good job. Keep it up buddy!

Hi Shweta,

Actually, it's been done by senior members of NHRD like Dr. Pallabh, and others from Cambridge Asia, Wipro, and others. We had a presentation from Dr. Pallabh in college regarding the CompMod model. As I learned from the presentation, NHRD was very eager to chalk out the competency of the HR professionals in the organizations. Its basic need is to pave the road for the new HR fraternity to be strategic HR in the future. According to me, if you go to the later stage of the presentation, it deals with KRAs and asks of today's HR people. There was no contribution from my part; I just felt that it would be a great learning tool for us (HR).

Please do share your project when you are done. Looking for a positive response.

And how many organizations are recruiting candidates on the basis of these competencies?
