Dear Friends,

Most of the executives find it difficult to extract work from their subordinates, especially when targets are set within a specific time frame. It becomes even more challenging when one focuses solely on their designation, authority, and power, as this approach can make the task of getting things done seem Herculean. Bossing around can lead to our subordinates becoming mentally and emotionally distant from us.

Bossing may be effective in military and correctional facilities, where authority and punitive measures condition individuals to obey. However, this approach is generally ineffective in organizational settings. The more one bosses, the more one is likely to lose.
