Dear HR Family,
Posting a ver useful information. In Attached Excel sheet, just put the starting four digits of any mobile number & it will give you the name of the service provider (like hutch, airtel, idea, reliance etc). it will also let you know whether it's a GSM number or a CDMA phone. Above all it will give you the details of the telecom circle also like whether the number is in maharashtra Circle or Gujarat Circle, North Circle etc.
I'm damn sure this would be of great help for most of you. Please give me your feedback on this piece of information which i'm sharing with you.
Thanks & Rgds,

Hello all,
I can update this for you, people, but I don't have the updated number series. If you could tell me which new numbers/series (only the first 4 digits, e.g., 9740) belong to which state and network, I could add it to the sheet. I need the data in this fashion.
9740 - Hutch, Kolkata
9765 - Airtel, Chennai
Anyone care to build one by one? Post it here... whatever new series you come across.
Regards,
Rahuul
