    Nice Mr. S Sethupathy.

Please accept my sincere appreciations for your initiatives and acts of deed. Please give 2 days for each act so that you can cover all the materials of the concerned act one by one. If you hasten, it will be difficult for everyone to get acquainted with your speed, and we may skip important portions, similar to how we prepare for exams by focusing only on crucial questions and answers without reading the entire content of the textbooks. There is a Tamil saying, “Nuni pul maeyura Maadu,” which refers to a cow that eats only the edge of the grass, highlighting the importance of not rushing through tasks.

When uploading, please bear in mind that the articles uploaded are not copyrighted materials that could lead to legal action against us. Thank you for sharing your insights.

    Dear Boss,

I agree with you. I wish to mention one more saying again from Tamil: "Oru khai thatenayal Osai varathu," which means you can't clap with a single hand. I request the fellow members to make comments on the contributions and add color to this with their contribution. I hope you understand this.

Nevertheless, I am keep on adding a few more files on the App Act, and I request the freshers to download all the contents posted by me and other senior members for their future reference.

    Dear Mr. Sethupathy,

Good morning, and you are doing an excellent service to the HR society. I have a doubt here and I request you to clear the same.

Earlier, women employees were not allowed to work after 7:00 PM, and the same was in force. Some industries (particularly garment industries at Tirupur) had filed a writ and obtained permission to work beyond 7:00 PM if they followed the conditions stipulated in the judgment.

Lately, I read in the Dinamalar newspaper that the court had given a judgment allowing women employees to work at night. I request you to send me a copy of the judgment for my reference.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Dear Narayanan,

The new modifications in TN Factories Rules stipulate the following conditions for female employees working night shifts:

    - The management must ensure all safety measures are in place for female employees working night shifts.
    - A clear route map, including the distance from the factory, for pickup and drop facilities must be arranged.
    - Details of the Bus/Van used, including copies of the RC book and information about the drivers and operating times, should be provided.
    - A consent letter from female employees agreeing to work night shifts is required.
    - Details of security personnel accompanying the transport should be included.

With all the above requirements, you must apply to the Chief Inspector of Factories for an approval order.

I am currently searching for this notification. In the meantime, I am enclosing a few files regarding Women in Night Shifts.
