Dear all,
My friend was working in a government undertaking for 8 years. He resigned in July 2008 and joined a private company. The joining date in the private company was 25/7/08, and the relieving date from the previous organization was 5/8/08, resulting in a lagging period of 10 days. Please let us know the procedure for the transfer of family pension. He has already taken his PF.
Is there any legal issue with joining the new company before being relieved from the previous one? Will the service be considered continuous for pension calculation purposes or not?
Please help.
