I am working in a private company in Haryana state.My question is that , suppsoe I take leave from 1st March to 4th March. If 2nd March is Sunday, whether 2nd March will be considered as Holiday or will be calculated as a leave? Is there any rule for that or company has the liberty to do as per their convenient.[/quote][/i]

I believe that the situation that you talk about is referred to as "sandwich" leave in HR Parlance.
What you would have to do is go through the Haryana shops and establishments Act.
Sandwich leave would be an acceptable practice, but should your company provide for greater benefits, the same would be applicable.
