Shops And Establishment Registration Delhi

My query is regarding the registration under shops and establishment act delhi. We are coming up with a branch office in delhi. So do we required the registration under shops and establishment act delhi. Please provide the other registration that need to done for opening a branch office in delhi.

The objective of the Act is to regulate the working and employment conditions of worker employed in shops and establishments including commercial establishments. The Act generally provides for fixation of working hours, rest intervals, overtime, holidays, leave, termination of service, maintenance of shops and establishments and other rights and obligations of the employers and employees.
The Act also provides for registration for shops and establishments. However, the requirement of registration has been kept in abeyance since 1989.

Sir,
1. I would like to know If a company's Head Office is in Delhi has its own defined working hours, overtime, holidays leave etc. etc.(company's HR manual matching with laws and industry trend) do we still need to apply for registration?
2. Is the Act still in abeyance? If yes how to confirm the same, so as to meet the compliance of requirements.

Yes, you need to register your establishment under the Act, And your policies regarding working hours, overtime,holidays leave etc etc should not be inconsistence with the Act
Since Nov 2009 Notification form Delhi Govt now it is madatory to register your establishment under the Act.Need to comply with provisions of the Act.

In which section written down or copy of amendmend since Nov-2009 registration under Shops & Eastablishment is must.

I have a query. If we register our shop name in Delhi. And any other person also can register the same name of our shop ... Is it acceptable same name from two different proprietor ... Waiting fr reply
