Strategies for Creating a Staff Welfare Budget and Employee Benefits for Sales Teams

I am required to prepare a 'Staff Welfare Budget' for the Sales team of a region for the year 2008. I would be thankful if anyone could share a sample budget template or any ideas and thoughts on preparing the same.

Hi Jigar,

I do not have a typical staff welfare budget but a complete HR budget in place. I also do not have a specific document or worksheet for sales candidates, but I am sure you can consider the following suggestions:

1. Celebrating birthdays (personally or in a group) - if not a celebration, at least present a greeting card.
2. Quarterly luncheons with HOD/management or internal support staff.
3. Training sessions to enhance interpersonal skills or selling skills.
4. Organizing picnics.
5. Providing snacks for employees working late shifts.
