Hi All,
Below is my story in chronological order, trying to write as concisely as possible.
Jul-2023 - Left job (LWD) at previous employer, Accenture. Currently unemployed since leaving Accenture.
Nov-2023 - First PF Claim rejected by EPFO with reasons: 1) Original canceled cheque or attested by bank manager required, 2) Bank passbook photocopy not attested by authorized signatory/bank manager.
Dec-2023 - 2nd Claim rejected by EPFO for reasons: 1) Pending merger of pension fund to employer share since 08/2017, 2) Member's name not printed on canceled cheque.
As per the previous organization, corrections were needed in Form 11 records, specifically prior employer details that were not initially entered. EPS contributions also needed correction for certain years. The organization claimed to have submitted all necessary forms to the RPFC, providing me with an acknowledgment letter (soft copy) with EPFO seal in Jan 2024.
Apr-2024 - 3rd Claim rejected by EPFO due to: 1) Eligibility for EPS based on wages of 15000 but establishment not remitting EPS, 2) Bank passbook photocopy not attested by authorized signatory/bank manager.
Current status from the organization as of June states EPS correction is completed until July 2017, with remaining month corrections expected by Nov 2024. Following up in November, the company advised raising a grievance on EPFiGMS and CPGRAMS to expedite ECR processing.
Despite raising complaints, responses cited a backlog in ECR revisions causing delays. The organization provided a new ETA of June/July 2025 for ECR correction, leaving me distressed as I urgently require access to my savings for medical treatment and basic needs.
I previously contacted the Ministry of Labour and Employment, but resolution has been elusive. Seeking advice on next steps - whether to engage the previous organization, visit the Regional PF office, or escalate through the DPG portal, among other options. Any guidance is appreciated.
