Staggered off has not been made a law in India though there is a proposal. But many companies especially the companies which work for 7 days follow this practice of staggering the weekly off.
I think you are correct, Mr.Madhu. Simply put, it is a scheme of rotational weekly off to employees working in establishments to which statutory weekly day of closure is not prescribed.
