Instead of designing a pre-interview screening questionnaire, I recommend that you design an Employment Application Form (EAF) that can perform the screening or filtering of the candidates. However, since it requires customization, designing the EAF requires great expertise.
The biggest advantage of using the EAF is that it ensures only applications from worthy candidates land in the inbox. This saves the recruiters' time. If the recruiter's inbox gets flooded with CVs, there is a chance of overlooking the CV(s) of the worthy candidate(s).
