We handle the accounts of a trust. The trust runs a school. Name of the trust is deferent from name of the school. The administration of the school by mistake has taken PAN in the name of the school and one more PAN in the name of the trust. We know that PAN taken in the name of the trust is valid as the trust is the legal entity.
Our question is, while applying for employer code under ESI and EPF, we want to mention the name of the school as establishment name and mention the PAN of the trust. Will our application be validated ?
As per my knowledge PAN mentioned in the application will be validated with data base of Income tax department. If there is any mismatch the validation will not done.
We need help in this issue.
