Proper procedure and formalities to terminate an employee - Any specific wording formality to avoid any further legal action?

Dear Sir, Please guide proper procedure to terminate an employee. Is one month notice is required from the date of reply to terminate the employee. Other legal formalities regarding termination of an employee. Any specific wording formality to avoid any further legal action by a terminated employee.
Is there any issue to terminate an employee if he is on a probation period of 6 months? The domestic inquiry has already been conducted.
An employee on a supervisory post and drawing salary more than 50000/- P.M
