EPF CONTRIBUTION - EPF wages change every month based on NCP or it is fixed all months?

I am new to this forum and I just wanted to know whether gross wages or EPF wages change every month based on NCP, or if they are fixed every month. An employee's absence does not affect any EPF or EPS wages.

If the EPF is deducted on the ceiling amount (= Rs.15,000 now), the employee's absence does not affect the PF deduction as long as the gross salary (Basic + DA) is more than the ceiling amount. However, when it is deducted on an actual salary basis, it would vary depending on the gross salary drawn.
