Manisha, you have to go through sec.79 of the Factories Act,1948 which deals exclusively with Annual Leave with Wages which is commonly called as EL as the leave is basically earned by a worker on the basis of the actual days worked by him in the current year to be availed of in the succeeding year onwards.
No other kinds of leave have been prescribed under the Act. However, in actual practice, they are normally decided by collective bargaining agreements between the employer and employees.
