PF & ESI Applicability - If our company awarded any contractor for some civil works

Hi, I want to know that If our company awarded any contractor for some civil works and we are engaging 8 manpower from that particular contractor. So is it compulsory to take registration under PF & ESI for contractor???pls advice..

How many total work force you have including those of contractor's workers?
How many out of this work force drawing salary less than Rs. 15000 pm. excluding HRA?
How many out this work force drawing gross less than 21000 pm?
Is you company covered under PF and ESI?
In which State you are operating?
