What can I do if the employer is creating the problem while relieving me?

I have worked for a company sincerely and worked hard, where there is a condition for a 2-year bond period. Completed the bond period and worked 2 months more after the bond period. I submitted my resignation which was orally accepted. I also served the 2-month notice period as per the employment contract. However, on the last working day, they informed me that my resignation was not accepted. Due to this, I lost an opportunity with a new company, and amidst the pandemic outbreak (Corona), I am struggling to find new opportunities. Can I pursue legal action in this situation? If yes, how should I proceed?
